半身魚堅強求生存 獲收養成巡迴展示品

泰國叻丕府（ Ratchaburi）一名男子在市場看到一隻只剩前半身的魚，在魚缸不斷努力的求生，他心生憐憫並收養了這條魚，將這條魚取名為「I-half」。

36歲的喬特（（Watchara Chote）在市場逛街時看到一隻「半身魚」，沒有魚腹也沒有尾巴，但仍有堅強的求生意志，因此收養了牠。I-half是隻韋氏高鬚魚（Hypsibarbus wetmorei），因為試圖跳出魚缸，卻不幸受傷骨折，下半身潰爛脫落。

喬特養了I-half後，常帶牠到不同村落巡迴展示，但可能太過勞累，過了半年後，I-half還是去世了。當地許多民眾都感到相當不捨，紛紛向I-half捐錢，希望他可以幫I-half買個棺材，好好安葬牠。
